My refund should therefore arrive in a few business days. They advise that their system indicates the refund was processed by accounts 'that morning'. 3 days after the last phone call with them, I call again to chase them up (Monday). A couple days later I still had not heard from anyone and could tell based on the conversations thus far that the company doesn't care about my issue and weren't in any hurry to fix it. They ignore the question and make it very obvious by their tone that they don't want to help and want me to shutup. I ask for an estimate of when someone will get back to me / give my money back. Once the IT team fixes the glitch, the accounts team will action the refund. They talk to their manager for a long time then tell me that the matter will be sent to the IT team to investigate. This person confirms they can see the booking is glitched so they cannot access it properly. Read more ys had passed and I had not heard from anyone so I call again (Thursday). They said they'd have to ask their manager what to do, and someone would get back to me in a few days. I was told that my booking had a glitch so it could not be accessed and a refund therefore could not be actioned. 10 business days later, my money had not arrived. I called and the lady confirmed it was cancelled, and that my original payment minus $20 (weekly fee) would be refunded in 5 business days. A couple weeks before collecting it, I needed to cancel.
